Benefits of Presenting @ ACA

1. Professional Visibility & Recognition

Presenting at ACA2025 showcases your expertise to a distinguished audience of scientists, researchers, and industry professionals. It positions you as a thought leader in structural science and enhances your professional reputation.

2. Networking Opportunities

Engage with peers, potential collaborators, and experts in crystallography and related fields. The conference provides an excellent platform for building professional relationships that can lead to future research partnerships, collaborations, and career opportunities.

3. Contribute to Advancing Structural Science

By sharing your research, insights, and discoveries, you help shape the discussions and advancements within crystallography, biophysics, materials science, and related disciplines. Your contribution plays a vital role in driving scientific progress.

Oxford Abstract System

The ACA utilizes the Oxford Abstract system to streamline the submission and management of conference abstracts, ensuring a seamless experience for both speakers and attendees. Once the site is live, we encourage speakers to create a badge, allowing them to engage with other attendees, participate in discussions, and expand their professional network. Through the badge, speakers can also share their social media links, making it easier to connect beyond the conference. This interactive platform fosters collaboration and enhances networking opportunities, creating a more dynamic and engaging event experience for all participants.

Presentation

The ACA is an in-person event, and we require that each talk presenter purchase a full conference registration and attend in person to deliver their presentation. Session Chairs oversee the schedule and duration of talks, so if you have any questions about your presentation, we encourage you to reach out to them directly for guidance. Presenters must adhere to the allotted time limits, and opportunities for Q&A will be incorporated at the discretion of the Session Chairs.

Audio/Visual

Each presentation room will be equipped with a Windows laptop and a projector. Your presentation will not be preloaded, so please bring a USB drive or another transfer method.

If using your own device, ensure it supports a standard HDMI connection, as A/V adapters for non-standard connections will not be available.

We strongly encourage all speakers to visit the Speaker Ready Room in advance to test their presentations.

For the best display, please use a 16:9 slide format.
